Tun's Forgotten Origin vs Najib's Origin Reminder.

Ole aged Tun M seems to have a better idea of what 1Malaysia concept is than 1Malaysia himself the present PM 'N'.

His comment or is it a belief? "Everyone in Malaysia have to set a side their origin country and start calling themselves Malaysians for the success of the 1Malaysia concept", is probably the most important ingredient and component of 1Malaysia and ensuring it's success really.

It's meaningless to say 'People First' 'Performance Now' when they are laying claim to be the rightful 'tuan' of a race and trying so hard to instill in them their 'ketuanan' over the rest of the 'pendatangs'.

But one can't really fault 1Malaysia for not knowing or finding it difficult to remove the ROO (Race of Origin) tag from every single aspect of BolehLand society. It has been ingrained so long it becomes like a new DNA strand that defines what a 'Malay', 'Chinese', 'Indian' or 'others' is and mean.

If one must put their race of origin, indians who converted to Muslim seemed to have forgotten their origin and miraculously take on a new racial identity? Are they considered 'Malays' or 'Bumiputras?' Chinese or Indians who convert to Christianity still know they are Chinese or Indians. So it's rather odd that such ethnicity seemed to disappear once someone becomes a Muslim. But a Thai or Mat Salleh who converts, even natives in the 'deposit' states don't seem to experience such miraculous transformation! This can only happen in BolehLand!

The odd thing is why should an Indian converted to Islam need to choose if he is 'Muslim' or 'Indian' first? He is Indian who happened to be a Muslim rather than the other way around right? Unless the holy ones always think themselves 'the religion' first before the ethnicity. Like most Christians who say they are Christians first then eg Chinese. For me, I still know my ethnic origin, whatever religion I take, I can't rub of my Chinese DNA!

Tun must have forgotten that he added a new code into the 'Malay' DNA but encoding 'bumiputera' into their race identity. So when something is for the bumi, it is synonymous to for the 'Malays' not 'Muslims' which is more a religious tag, though the religious coding is also an important link chain of the Malay DNA.

Confusing, it certainly is! But even in this chaos, there is order in BolehLand that defines who a Malay or Muslim is and also lately, who can be a Malay even after becoming a Muslim! Confusing, it certainly is!

So if you have an opportunity to peek into a Malay DNA they don't share the same DNA code! Those UMNO Malays seem to be the purer Malay and non-traitor and has and extra 'ketuanan' DNA code over those not UMNO members, such as Pakatan or PAS Malays.

The DNA of an UMNO Malay

It's sad that only now Tun M is asking BolehLand folks to forget about their origin. It's actually an ole concept which was mooted so long ago. The founder of UMNO lama dulu, Dato' Onn Jaafar, was the first to recognise this and even tried but failed and was rejected by his own kind! So no credit to Tun M for saying it now!

Wonder why Tun M didn't advocate that when he was the PM, but introduced the 'bumiputra' code to further polarise the people!

Does everyone believe in the 1Malaysia policy if he cannot be told he should or rather must see himself/herself as lMalaysian first? Calling for the drop of race and call ourselves a Malaysian won't work simply because there is a majority who feel or rather believe they are the 'ketuanan' and the others 'pendatang'. Now do we really think the hawks in UMNO and the supremacists want their race to be tainted and be on par as least in a national identity with the others? It seems the name Malaysian is so haram and evil to them! A mark of a BTN attendee.

Nevertheless, at least an UMNO veteran member dares to brooch this Malaysia identity. It would be interesting if the likes of KJ and ultra right Zaid will call on their 'geng' and go on a legal illegal demonstration and scream 'treason, treason, treason, sedition, sedition, sedition' against ole Tun to have touched on their sacred Constitutional distinction!

So shall we see a revision of the 1Malaysia tagline to be 'Malaysians First' 'Performance Now'?

Wonder why 1Malaysia didn't think it was important. to use 'Malaysians' in the first instant. Because of this oversight or was it intentional, he has to spend so much time trying to convince everyone they are Malaysians. Which is kinda ironical as most at least over 30% know and believe they are Malaysians first and they can't speak for the rest of the majority can they?

While one is asking for all of us to forget our origin, another seems to want to remind us of it!

Confusing, isn't it.

Forget The Origin Country, We Are Malaysians - Mahathir
PENANG, Dec 23 (Bernama) -- Everyone in Malaysia have to set a side their origin country and start calling themselves Malaysians for the success of the 1Malaysia concept, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said.

The former prime minister said they had to put aside their origin country such as India or China and start calling themselves Malaysians.
"They must put aside their origin country and call themselves Malaysians for 1Malaysia to be successful," he said during an appreciation dinner with the Association of Muslim Kadayanallur here Wednesday.
Tun Mahathir called on the people to help realise the government's aspiration of strengthening racial unity and harmony in line with the 1Malaysia concept.

He said people in Thailand and Indonesia called themselves Thais and Indonesians respectively but this did not happen here.
To a claim that the Indian Muslims in the country had been neglected, he said they should choose to either become a Muslim or an Indian. "The country is very liberal and I think they (Indian Muslims) will be accepted by all if they can pick either to become a Muslim or Indian.".
Tun Mahathir said there was no difference between the various races as everyone were Malaysians.
"The federal constitution also defined a Muslim very clearly. If they want to become a Muslim then just follow the constitution."
He said if Indian Muslims in the country still called themselves as such, others might think that they still had links to the origin country.

"The problem of Indian Muslims will be resolved if they can decide and choose to become either a Muslim or an Indian," he added.- -- BERNAMA
